In some instances these are only technical drawings and narratives and in others specialized measuring tools are provided.  As a good business practice, Needak samples and tests each lot of components to ensure it conforms to our needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">The following Sub-Assemblies each have their own quality control tests to ensure conformance:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Frame sub-assembly:  Random sampling of each pallet is done to ensure frames meet tolerances established by print and agreed tooling.  If any one sample fails the test, all frames in a lot require evaluation before passing into Assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Jump Mat:  Random sampling of each carton is done to ensure it meets tolerances established by testing tooling.  If any one sample fails a test, the contents of the entire carton will be individually evaluated for conformance before passing into Assembly.  When the mat is installed on the rebounder it is checked for stray threads, defects in the polypropylene fabric, and defects in the mat cleats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">The following components each have their own quality control test to ensure conformance:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>How Our Rebounders are Assembled<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Leg Tube:  Each leg tube is measured for uniform length and examined for defects.  Those passing are surface cleaned and become part of the leg sub-assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Leg Spring:  Each leg spring is visually inspected as to the hook shape and general form as it is installed as part of the leg sub-assembly.  Final leg spring test is spring tension as the spring is pulled in preparation for attachment to the frame.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Leg Tip:  Each leg tip is visually inspected for defects and surface discoloration before being added to the leg sub-assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Leg Sub-Assembly is completed by combining the leg tube, leg spring, leg tip, packaging sleeve, rubber band.  Assembly is checked that the leg tip is fully pressed onto and square with the leg tube.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Mat Spring:  Each mat spring is visually inspected as to the hook shape, general form, and defects as it is installed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Clevis Pin:  Each clevis pin is visually inspected as they are inserted for defects in forming or missing through hole or countersink.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Spring Cover:  Each spring cover is checked prior to installation for inner and outer band tension and 6 attachment points near each.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Quality Control Procedure: Rebounder Assembly<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">The Leg sub-assembly is attached to the Frame sub-assembly and each leg is checked to make sure it seats fully onto the platform pins.  A tactile check of the frame discovers bumps and burrs.  Visual inspection is also made for paint defects, dents, or other issues.  Clevis Pins are inserted through the frame holes and mat springs are attached.  With all 36 mat springs now in place, the jump mat sub-assembly is now attached.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">The mat and springs are all visually inspected for defects under tension.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">The rebounder is placed on the flat table and checked that all 6 legs touch the table and hinges are engaged.  It is then placed on the floor and bounced to check that it is stable and quiet.  After passing this step the rebounder is turned over and visually inspected from the underside.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Each leg is raised from the platform pin and folded in toward the mat.  Non-folding units are now ready for shipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">If the rebounder is a folding unit, 36 retaining tubes are inserted on the hooks of the springs nearest the jump mat and tucked inside the barrel of the spring.  Folding units are now folded in half observing the action of the hinges under spring tension.  Finally the folding units are enclosed in the carry bag and  inspected for any visual defects or stray threads before storage or shipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: red; font-family: times new roman,times;\">Quality Control Procedure \u2013 Stabilizing Bars<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Legs-each leg is inspected visually for defects such as missing paint or texturing under the paint.  A tactile check also discovers bumps and sharp burrs.  A leg tube is passed through the bar leg sleeve to ensure it is sized properly.  The hole which accepts the spring button near the top of the leg is checked for size and burrs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Spring button is now inserted and leg tip added to the bottom of the leg.  Leg tip is inspected for defects and soiling.  A safety label is added to each pair of legs and they are packaged in fabric sleeve which immobilizes them during shipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Male bar-each male bar is inspected visually for defects such as missing paint or texturing under the paint.  A tactile check also discovers bumps and sharp burrs.  The connecting stub has a hole in which the spring button will be placed and is checked for size and burrs.  The other end has 3 holes which are also checked for burrs and size.  Lower end of the bar is tested for size to accept the leg steel.  Finally the snap button is inserted in the stub.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Female bar-each female bar is inspected visually for defects such as missing paint or texturing under the pain.  A tactile check also discovers bumps and sharp burrs.  At the upper end is a single hole which accepts the spring button from the male bar.  The other end has 3 holes.  All 4 holes are checked for burrs and size.  Lower end of the bar is tested for size to accept the leg steel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;\">Male and Female bars are paired up and the upper end is connected to ensure the snap button will engage.  Once the pairing has been successfully connected, it is disassembled and each receive a 9\u201d foam grip at the upper portion and 4\u201d foam grip at the lower portion of the bars.
